Callis on the draft
Yanks roll again, 9-2

Triple-A Scranton (4-0 win over Syracuse) check out which 2 former Yankee prospects batted 3-4 in the Syracuse lineup
Kevin Reese: 2 for 5, 1 R, 1 2B
Alberto Gonzalez: 0 for 4, 1 RBI, 2 K
Bronson Sardinha: 0 for 3, 1 BB, 1 K
Eric Duncan: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 K
Shelley Duncan: 0 for 2, 2 BB, 2 K – HR and RBI streak ends at 3 games
Omir Santos: 1 for 4, 1 K
Phil Hughes: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 K, 6-2 GB/FB – you’re right, it’s best to keep him in the minors…
Ron Villone: .1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
Ben Kozlowski: .1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K – 7.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 K in last 4 games

Double-A Trenton had their doubleheader rained out yet again.  All these rainouts are the last thing the pitchers need, especially when they’re in the midst of a 46 inning shutout streak. They’re going to try and make up all these games with doubleheaders on May 8th, August 28th and August 29th.

High-A Tampa (5-1 loss to Clearwater) after one of the worst games of his life (in 20 innings no less), Jose Tabata had the day off
Reegie Corona: 1 for 4, 1 BB
Juan Miranda: 1 for 4
Colin Curtis: 1 for 2, 2 BB – I don’t like that he’s playing LF so that CF can be manned by…
Tim Battle: 2 for 4, 1 K, 1 E (fielding)
Elvys Quezada: 4 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
John Axford: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K
Francisco Castillo: 2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

Low-A Charleston (1-0 win over Kannapolis)
Mitch Hilligoss: 1 for 3, 2 BB
Wilmer Pino: 2 for 5, 1 R – hasn’t K’ed in 9 games
Seth Fortenberry: 1 for 4, 1 BB, 2 K
Chris Malec: 1 for 2, 1 2B, 2 BB, 1 K
Josue Calzado: 1 for 3, 1 K
Michael Dunn: 6.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, 11-4 GB/FB
Jon Hovis: .2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
David Robertson: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K, 4-1 GB/FB – lovin’ it
