Greg Golson, CF: 3 for 3, 3 R, 1 HR, 1 RBI – eight for his last 21 (.381)
Kevin Russo, 2B & Justin Maxwell, LF: both 0 for 2, 1 BB, 1 K – Maxwell stole a base and scored a run
Jesus Montero, C: 2 for 3 – he even threw a runner out trying to steal
Jorge Vazquez, 1B: 2 for 3, 2 RBI
Chris Dickerson, DH: 0 for 3, 1 K
Jordan Parraz, RF & Brandon Laird, 3B: both 1 for 3 – Parraz struck out twice … Laird drove in a run and whiffed
Ramiro Pena, SS: 0 for 3, 1 K – just five for his last 36 (.139)
Kevin Millwood, RHP: 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 9-3 GB/FB – 60 of 95 pitches were strikes (63.2%) … wrote more about this earlier

Everyone Else: combined 1 for 17, 7 K – Jorge Vazquez had the lone hit … Jesus Montero didn’t play after catching the first game
D.J. Mitchell, RHP: 7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 1 WP, 2 HB, 10-3 GB/FB – 65 of 102 pitches were strikes (63.7%) … finally got that K/BB ratio above 1.0

Jose Pirela, SS, Cody Johnson, DH & Melky Mesa, CF: all 0 for 4 – Mesa struck out once, Pirela twice, and Johnson four freaking times

Bradley Suttle, 3B: 2 for 4, 1 2B, 2 K, 1 E (throwing) – got picked off first
Corban Joseph, 2B, Jack Rye, 1B & Ray Kruml, RF: all 1 for 3 – Kruml whiffed
