The news and rumors never really stop at the Winter Meetings, but the first day is nearly in the books. If you haven’t been checking back in throughout the day, make sure you check out today’s post for all of the Yankees-related rumblings. The biggest news of the day had nothing to do with players the team might acquire, but with one of their own. Alex Rodriguez is having another hip surgery, this time on the left side. He’s going to be out at least 4-6 months. That’s rough.
