Low-A Charleston Game One (3-1 loss to Hickory in seven innings) makeup of the June 30th rainout

  • SS Cito Culver: 0-4, 2 K
  • 1B Greg Bird: 0-3, 1 BB, 3 K — no contact kinda day

  • CF Jake Cave: 1-3, 1 R, 1 K
  • RHP Luis Severino: 3.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 2/4 GB/FB — 44 of 70 pitches were strikes (63%) … just up from the GCL, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a spot start for the doubleheader

Low-A Charleston Game Two didn’t start until 10:45pm ET and I’m not waiting around for it to end. Here’s the box score. Knock yourself out.

Short Season Staten Island Game One (5-1 loss to Aberdeen in seven innings) makeup of yesterday’s rainout

  • RHP Gio Gallegos: 3 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 6/1 GB/FB — he was going five innings pretty regularly when the season started last month, but now he’s down to three or four innings each time out
