Hot Stove Notes: Ellsbury, Corbin, Cole, Torres
Reports: Yankees, Pirates inching closer to Gerrit Cole trade

Our Season Review series finally came to a close today. Took long enough, eh? The 2017 season was a fun one. Time to turn the page and focus on the 2018 Yankees, who sure look like they’ll be fun as hell. Spring Training is seven weeks and five days away now. Plenty of time for the Yankees to add a pitcher and an infielder(s), and for the rest of us to relax a bit before the marathon begins.

Here is tonight’s open thread. All the local hockey and basketball teams except the Nets are in action, there’s a bunch of college basketball on the schedule too, and there’s even a college football bowl game on somewhere. Talk about anything here that isn’t religion or politics.
