After last month’s massive fire in that destroyed his New Jersey home, John Sterling is hosting a benefit later this month to help everyone else in his apartment complex who lost their homes, according to Peter Schwartz. “There are displaced families that need a little bit of help. It really is frightening to be on the street and all you have is the clothes on your back. You don’t realize that you’ve lost everything,” said Sterling. The benefit will be held on February 26th at D&D’s Bar and Restaurant in Manhattan and will be a meet and great with sportscasters, ex-Yankees, and New York Giants players.
