Late and close, some haven't delivered
Subway Series to decide the fate of the Empire State Building

Apologies for the tardiness, but loyal reader Andrew Brotherton put together a makeshift DotF of last night’s game for us…

Scranton beats Indy 10-7
Golson 2-3 with a 3 runs, a double and 2 walks with 1 rbi
Nunez 1-6 with 1 rbi
Weber 1-4 with a double and 2 walks with 1 rbi
Montero 3-5 with 2 runs and 1 walk
Gorecki 1-3 with 2 runs, a double, and 2 walks with 2 ks
Cusick 2-4 with 1 run, 1 double, 3 rbis, and 1 walk
Nova got hit around lasting only 2 innings and allowing 5 runs on 5 hits all earned with 2 walks.
Igawa got the win but still allowed 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, but 4 strikeouts
Albaladejo got the save with 2 innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 2.
Former Yankees: Anthony Claggett walked 6 in 1 inning, Steven Jackson with 1 k, and Jose Tabata 0-2 with 2 runs, 1 rbi, and 2 walks.

Trenton loses to Portland 11-8
Christian 1-2 with 1 run, and 3 walks.
Adams 0-2 with 1 run, and 2 walks
Romine 3-5 with 1 run, and 3 doubles, and 2 rbis. now batting 328
Laird also 3-5 with 1 run, 2 rbi’s and 1k
Brewer 1-4 with 1 double, and 1 rbi, with 1 walk
DJ Mitchell got batted around allowing 4 runs in 5 innings and 3 walks but Casey Kelly got hit hard in 3 innings he allowed 5 runs, and had 3 walks.

Tampa beat Palm Beach 3-1
Pirela 1-3 with 1 triple
Joseph 2-3 with 1 rbi
Suttle, Mesa, Lockwood, and Medchill 1-4
Lare 4 scoreless
Olbrychowski got the win pitching 3 innings, allowing 3 hits, and striking out 3.
Venditte scoreless inning, and Ortiz got another save pitching a scoreless inning

Charleston beats Savannah 9-6
Paredes 2-4 with 2 rbis
Murphy 1-5 with 1 rbi
Almonte Z. 2-5 with 2 doubles and 3 Ks
Murton 2-5 with 2 rbis
Lyerly 2-4 with 2 doubles and 2 rbis
Milo 3-3 with 2 runs and 1 walk
Sean Black got hit around allowing 4 runs in 5 innings, but struck out 4, he ended up picking up the win.
