SS Jorge Mateo placed ninth on this week’s Prospect Hot Sheet. Mateo went 11-for-25 (.440) with three home runs last week. He’s had a tough season overall, so hopefully this last week or so is an indication he’s turning things around and ready to go on an extended hot streak.

High-A Tampa was rained out. They’re going to play a doubleheader tomorrow. RHP Albert Abreu was tonight’s scheduled starter, so he is off the disabled list and back from his elbow issue. Also, 1B Tyler Austin was officially added to the roster on a rehab assignment, so he’s on his way back. I assume both Abreu and Austin will play tomorrow.
