Monday Night Open Thread

The Yankees have an off-day today, their first in three weeks, and they have another off-day coming Thursday. Take the rest when you can get it. Anyway, on this day without Yankees baseball, I highly recommend Marc Carig’s story (subs. req’d) on CC Sabathia and the team’s clubhouse culture. One reason rookies like Miguel Andujar and Gleyber Torres can come up and produce right away is the way Sabathia and other veterans make them feel welcome. Hazing and treating rookies like crap is not the way this team does business. Make sure you check it out. Great read.

Here is an open thread for the night. The Mets are playing, MLB Network will have regional games at 7pm ET and 10pm ET, and ESPN+ will have the Orioles and Blue Jays for some reason. ESPN will have a preseason NFL game as well (Ravens vs. Colts at 8pm ET). Talk about those games, Carig’s article, or anything else right here. Just no religion or politics, please. Thanks in advance.
