- LHP Phil Diehl: 2 IP, zeroes, 6 K — 18 of 29 pitches were strikes (62%) … the 2016 27th round pick has a 3.28 ERA and 74/12 K/BB in 46.2 innings … it’s mostly a left-on-left matchup guy profile (low-90s fastball, low-80s slider, lower arm slot) but with numbers like this, I imagine Diehl will be up with Trenton at some point soon
Low-A Charleston RiverDogs (9-6 win over Columbia) scored five in the top of the ninth to win the game
